What is the LeadWELL Ambassadors Program?

It is a volunteer leadership opportunity for individuals passionate about mental health, well-being, and community impact. Ambassadors serve as the welcoming faces of the LeadWELL Summit and help create an engaging, supportive, and memorable experience for attendees, speakers, sponsors, and community partners.

What are we looking for in a LeadWELL Ambassador?

We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and service-oriented individuals who care about mental health, well-being, and community impact. Ambassadors should be welcoming, respectful, inclusive, flexible, and collaborative while representing LeadWELL professionally and helping create a psychologically safe environment for everyone. Previous volunteer, event, clinical, or mental health experience is not required.

What might I do as a LeadWELL Ambassador?

Responsibilities vary based on your interests, experience, and event needs. You may assist with:

• Stage and event logistics

• Registration, greeting, and ushering

• Speaker and VIP support

• Workshops and wellness activities

• Exhibitor and community partner support

• Photography, social media, or general operations

Ambassadors may receive:

• A printed Certificate of Appreciation upon successful completion of responsibilities

• Complimentary registration & VIP access at the LeadWELL Summit

• Opportunities to connect with professionals and community leaders from diverse sectors

• Hands-on experience in leadership, event operations, and community engagement

• Recognition through LeadWELL communications and promotional materials

• Priority consideration for future LeadWELL volunteer and leadership opportunities

What’s in it for me?

Will I need to volunteer as a NAMI Nevada volunteer?

Yes. LeadWELL Ambassadors serve the summit through our community partner, NAMI Nevada. Selected applicants must complete NAMI Nevada’s volunteer registration process and agree to all applicable volunteer policies and requirements before participating.

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes, positions such as social media content creator, speaker experience coordinator, etc. are able to complete their volunteer tasks virtually.

Any other reminders?

• Applicants must at least be 18 years old.

•This is a voluntary, unpaid opportunity.

• Orientation and assigned shifts are mandatory.

• Event setup on January 14, 2027 is optional.

• Shift preferences are not guaranteed and may change based on event needs.

• Selected ambassadors must register with NAMI Nevada and follow all volunteer and event policies.

• Smart-casual attire is required and will not be provided.

• Media consent is required for photographs, audio, and video recordings in the application form.

• Please notify the LeadWELL team promptly of any availability changes.

• Applying does not guarantee selection.

• Applicants must complete the application form and agree to all required terms, including media consent for the use of photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings in any media format.
